Year Round School Registered Nurse Job

ProCare Therapy is hiring a part-time school registered nurse on behalf of a Philadelphia school district. This is an immediate need for a year-round school. Apply today to be considered! 

Hours: 25 hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:15 am - 1:30 pm
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for students in K-4th grade
• Conduct health screenings and assessments
• Administer daily medications following proper protocols
• Input medical notes accurately and timely
• Assess and treat students for injuries or illnesses as necessary
• Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure student health and safety
• Maintain compliance with school health policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Proficiency in medical documentation and record-keeping
