Procare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced K-12 Virtual Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2024 school year. As a contracted teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality virtual education to students with special needs in the Indianapolis, IN area.

Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual instruction to K-12 students with special needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with parents, support staff, and other educators to create a supportive learning environment.
• Utilize virtual learning tools and platforms effectively.
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid teaching certification in Indiana.
• Proven experience in virtual or online teaching.
• Strong understanding of special education principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in virtual learning platforms.

Requirements:

• Reliable high-speed internet connection.
• Dedicated workspace conducive to virtual teaching.
• Availability for full-time hours (35-37.5 hours/week).
• Commitment for the duration of the contract (January - June 2024).

Compensation:
