Hours: Full-time (35-37.5 hours per week)

Procare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Virtual Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2024 school year. As a Virtual Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing quality education and support to K-12 students with special needs in the Manhattan, KS area. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Conduct virtual lessons, assessments, and activities to support students' academic and social-emotional development
• Collaborate with parents, school staff, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
• Provide virtual support and accommodations to meet the unique needs of each student
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress

Requirements:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification in Kansas
• Previous experience working with K-12 students with special needs
• Strong knowledge of virtual teaching platforms and technology
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to create engaging and accessible virtual learning experiences
