Position Overview: Procare Therapy is seeking a qualified and passionate Virtual Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2024 school year. This position is based in Dodge City, KS, and offers the opportunity to work with K-12 students in a virtual learning environment. As a Virtual Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional education and support to students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide virtual instruction, support, and guidance to K-12 students in an online learning environment.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other members of the educational team to address the unique needs of each student.
• Utilize technology and online resources to enhance the learning experience for students with special needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and communicate regularly with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification in the state of Kansas.
• Experience working with K-12 students with diverse learning needs.
• Proficient in using virtual teaching platforms and technology tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to a virtual teaching environment and engage students effectively.

Job Type: Hourly (35-37.5 hours per week)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
