Job Description:

As a Virtual Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) contracted by Procare Therapy, you will play a crucial role in supporting K-12 students in the Flagstaff, AZ area. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while making a positive impact on the education and communication of students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual sign language interpretation services for K-12 students in various educational settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, students, and other professionals to facilitate effective communication.
• Adhere to the Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ensure the provision of appropriate support.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) in the state of Arizona.
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
• Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable internet connection and appropriate technology for virtual work.
