Job Title: Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans.
• Provide specialized instruction in Braille, orientation and mobility, and adaptive technology.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student learning.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education of the Blind/Visually Impaired.
• Pennsylvania teaching certification in Visual Impairment.
• Experience working with students with visual impairments.
• Proficiency in Braille and assistive technology.
