Teacher Assistants needed- Multiple Openings

Position Available: Teacher Assistants (Multiple Openings)

Location: Villa Park, IL
Duration: ASAP - May 31st, 2024
Position Type: Full-time, Temporary

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Paraeducator License
• CPI Certification (district training provided if needed)
• Flexibility in schedule and willingness to be reassigned when assigned student is absent
• Ability to complete district-mandated training sessions, including CPI training and other required sessions

Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students in a middle school setting
• Work closely with teachers to implement educational plans and support students' academic and social-emotional needs
• Assist students with assignments, projects, and activities, both in group settings and one-on-one
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and success
• Collaborate with school staff, including special education teachers and support personnel, to address individual student needs and ensure academic progress
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with students, families, and colleagues
• Participate in district-mandated training sessions and professional development opportunities as required
