Summer School Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Des Plaines, IL
Start/End Date: June 24th - July 18th (Closed Thursday, July 4th)
Orientation: June 18th, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Hours/Week: 29 hours/week (21.75 the week of July 1st)
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM - 3:45 PM (30-minute lunch)
Age of Students: PreK/K, rising 1st-4th grade, rising 5th-8th grade
Description:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a summer school position in Des Plaines, IL. This role involves providing nursing care and support to students across three different summer school sites.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care and support to students across various age groups
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor student health and respond to medical emergencies
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
- Maintain accurate documentation of medical interventions and student health records
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of Illinois
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
