Part-Time Paraprofessional Positions (x2)

Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:15 AM - 11:00 AM
Hours Per Week: 18.75 hours

Description: We are currently seeking two dedicated Part-Time Paraprofessionals to join our team at a middle school in North St. Paul, MN. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and behavioral needs of students during the morning hours. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of students while working collaboratively with teachers and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and classroom management
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed by the teacher
• Supervise students during arrival, transitions, and classroom activities
• Support students with special needs, including those with individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and other support staff

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred
• Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
