Job Title: Special Education Teacher
Location: Westminster, VT
Duration: ASAP - June 2024
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Caseload: Middle School
Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Westminster, VT. The selected candidate will work with a middle school caseload, providing services to students with combined life skills and behavioral needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct services to students
• Manage paraprofessionals
• Lead IEP meetings
• Collaborate with the BCBA to ensure behavior plans are implemented effectively
• Create a supportive classroom environment where students can reset as needed

Requirements:

• Must have behavior experience
• Valid Special Education teaching license
• Previous experience working with middle school students preferred
