Special Education Teaching Opening for 2024/2025 School Year!

We are seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $30 to $35 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K retirement plans. This opportunity is a W2 contract with full-time hours of 30+ per week, allowing for eligibility for benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students within middle school/high school self-contained and elementary self-contained settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Create and adapt curriculum materials to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic and social-emotional growth.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid MS State Special Education Teaching License or eligibility for licensure.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs and disabilities.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
