Special Education Teachers Aide

ProCare Therapy, a leading provider of educational and therapy staffing services, is actively seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals for the position of School Special Education Aide for a contract position in Dover, NH. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support students with special needs in a collaborative and inclusive educational setting.

Position Type: Contract

Responsibilities:

• Assist special education teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide support to students with disabilities in academic and social settings.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to adapt materials and activities to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students.
• Assist with classroom management and behavior support as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is preferred.
• Previous experience working with students with special needs is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, flexibility, and a passion for supporting student success.
• Ability to work collaboratively with special education teachers and other school staff.
