This position offers a manageable caseload of 6-8 students, with the support of 3 dedicated paraprofessionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to elementary students with moderate to severe behaviors
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to address student needs and promote academic and social-emotional growth
• Familiarize with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Education Development Plans (EDPs)
• Conduct assessments, track student progress, and communicate effectively with parents and other stakeholders

Requirements:

• Valid Arizona teaching certification in Special Education
• Familiarity with IEP and EDP processes
• Ability to effectively manage a caseload of students with moderate to severe behaviors
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Must have IVP Fingerprint Cards
