Special Education Teacher Opening (Lafayette, TN)

For the remainder of the 2023/24SY, ProCare has an opening for a SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER in Lafayette, TN. This is a contracted position through the remainder of the year with the option for renewal at the end of a successful contract.



Any applicants must have an active special education teacher's certification. We have positions ranging from K-6th so appropriate licensure is required based on available positions.

Job Details:

• K-6th Grade
• Caseload
  • Comprehensive Developmental Classroom
  • Class size varies based on caseload
  • Co-teaching where appropriate
• 30 minute duty-free lunch
• Full Time (32.5+hrs/week)
• In person
• There are several openings, let your recruiter know what your preferred caseloads are! 

Qualifications: 

• Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Special Education or a related field.
• Hold a valid Special Education teaching certificate from the Tennessee Department of Education.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening 
• Provide school fingerprints and/or ProCare Fingerprints
