Special Education Teacher | Northbrook, Illinois

ProCare Therapy is looking for a special education teacher in the Northbrook area for this school year. This position is a full-time district position. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to classroom management, assisting with IEPs, progress monitoring, participating in team meetings, and planning. We are looking to fill this role immediately.

Job Type: 

• Full-Time Hours: 37.5 hours  
• K-5th or K-12th Endorsement required 
• ASAP- June 2024 
• Opportunity to renew
• 7:45 AM- 3:45 PM 
• Foundational Program/ Life Skills 

Requirements:

• Must have a bachelor's degree in education 
• Valid IL Certification in Special Education 
• LBS1 Required
• Must have a PEL 
• Experience in schools is required
• Experience with early childhood is preferred but not required
