Job Description:
We are searching for a highly skilled and compassionate Special Education Teacher to work with students in the Washington D.C. area. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), adapting curriculum materials, providing instruction, and collaborating with other members of the school community to support the diverse needs of students with disabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Special Education teaching certification in Washington D.C.
- Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders
