Special Education Teacher Needed Full-time Near Tucson, AZ

We are seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher for the upcoming school year near Tucson, AZ. The ideal candidate will have experience working in special education and be passionate about providing quality education to students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities:
Provide resource support and co-teaching for K-12th grade students with special needs
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to meet the needs of students with special needs
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and participate in parent-teacher conferences
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding special education services
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
Valid Arizona teaching certificate in Special Education
AZ Fingerprint card
Experience working with students with mild/moderate disabilities
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to create and implement effective lesson plans based on individual student needs
