We have a school district located in an inclusive and welcoming community with a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opening! This position would be servicing a K-12th grade caseload. Interviews are being conducted now, so please email me your resume to be considered for this position!Â
Job Details:
- Onsite near the Muskego, Wisconsin area
- Start 4/28/2024 and go until the end of the schoolyear
- # students, # of sites, and caseload information will be discussed more in depth with director over an interview
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field)
- Valid state (WI) teaching certification/license in Special Education.
- Prior experience working with students with special needs in inner city is preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide specialized instruction and support to help students achieve academic and social goals
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing learning environment
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
