Special Education Teacher Need- Elementary- Bailey, CO

The director of the special education department will make availability to interview qualified candidates immediately. It is preferred candidates have prior experience and meet Colorado's requirements.

Employment type:

• Full Time
• Full school year employment

Work Hours:

• 37.5 hours/week
• 5 days/week

Position Details:

• Multiple grade level options in a K-5 setting
• Various caseload options. Your choice!
• We ask that candidates be prepared with interview times and classroom type/age preferences (1st & 2nd choice)

Qualifications:

• Completion of a teacher education program in Special Education with student teaching.
• Applicants must pass the Praxis II test 5354 subject area test for Special Education, as well as the Praxis II Principles of Learning and Teaching 
• Out of State Applicants must follow the requirements of reciprocity for Colorado
