Special Education Teacher - Dover, DE - 23/24 School Year

ProCare Therapy has partnered with a school district near the Dover, Delaware area that is looking for a special education teacher for the school year 2024-2025. Some roles are available to start ASAP. Please see additional details about this opportunity below: 

Job Type: 

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, in collaboration with parents, therapists, and other educators.
• Adapt instructional materials and methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Provide direct instruction in core academic subjects, life skills, and social-emotional development, as appropriate for each student's needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies for inclusion and differentiation within the general education curriculum.
• Pay - $35-45/hr

Qualifications:

• Valid state certification in Special Education (DE)
• Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Special Education
