Job Title: Special Education Paraprofessional

Position Overview: Seeking a compassionate Special Education Paraprofessional to support students with diverse learning needs under the guidance of special education teachers. This role involves providing academic assistance, behavior support, and personal care as required.

Responsibilities:

• Assist special education teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students in various subjects and activities.
• Help with classroom management and behavior intervention strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and staff to create a positive learning environment.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in education.
• Knowledge of special education practices and behavior management techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support students with diverse needs.
