ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Lafayette, TN. If you are a skilled educator with a passion for making a difference in the lives of students with special needs, we want to hear from you!
We are looking for a dynamic individual who is committed to providing high-quality education and support to students with diverse learning needs. As a Special Education Teacher, you will collaborate with other educators and professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), assess student progress, and create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working with students with various disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, and emotional/behavioral disorders, is highly desirable.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid Tennessee teaching license with Special Education endorsement
- Previous experience working with students with disabilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to providing inclusive and individualized instruction
