School Speech Language Pathologist Opening Joliet, IL - $45/Per Hour

Procare Therapy is seeking a licensed Remote Speech Therapist (SLP) to join a school district in Joliet. We are currently conducting interviews and hiring for the remainder of the school year. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide speech and language services to students with communication disorders, evaluate and diagnose communication disorders, and develop treatment plans.

• Caseload Type: Instructional Push-in & Pull-out Services
• Grades: PreK - 2^nd Grade
• Hours: 35 hours/week
• Open to CFY

Job Requirements:

• A valid State Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent licensure is also required
• Prior school-based experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to diagnose communication disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and assessments
• Provide speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings
• Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and parents, to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions
• Attend meetings and provide reports on student progress

Interview Process:

• 10 –15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
• 20-30 Minute virtual interview directly with the school district
