School Social Worker - Mount Prospect, IL

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate School Social Worker to join our team in Mount Prospect, IL. As a contracted School Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting the social, emotional, and academic needs of students within the school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling services to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement strategies to support student success.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students in need of social and emotional support services.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with social, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
• Serve as a resource to school staff on issues related to mental health, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution.
• Advocate for students and families to access community resources and support services as needed.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid license to practice as a School Social Worker in the state of Illinois.
• Previous experience working with children and adolescents in a school or clinical setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
