**School RN Position - Mocksville, NC**

Role: Student Care Nurse (1:1) - RN/LPN Location: Mocksville, NC Start Date: Immediate End Date: June 11th, 2024

Position Summary:

• Provide attentive nursing care to a high school student with specialized medical requirements
• Duties include tracheostomy management, ventilator assistance, and wheelchair support
• Work closely with medical professionals and caregivers to ensure comprehensive student care
• Monitor vital signs, respiratory function, and overall health status throughout the school day
• Administer medications, treatments, and tube feedings as directed
• Assist with positioning, transfers, and mobility using adaptive devices
• Maintain accurate documentation of all nursing activities and student health records

Qualifications:

• Valid RN or LPN license in North Carolina
• Previous experience caring for pediatric or adolescent patients with complex medical needs
• Proficiency in tracheostomy care and ventilator support
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic educational setting
