Position: Certified School Nurse (Elementary Caseload) Location: Dixon, CA School Year: 24/25

Overview:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care and support to elementary school students in Dixon, CA.
• Utilize expertise in pediatric nursing to address the health and wellness needs of students.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans.
• Conduct health assessments, screenings, and immunization reviews to ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Administer medications, treatments, and first aid as necessary, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
• Monitor and manage chronic health conditions, allergies, and special healthcare needs of students.
• Serve as a resource and advocate for students, promoting health education and wellness initiatives within the school community.

Requirements:

• Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certified School Nurse credentialing.
• Experience working with elementary school-age children preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
