School RN needed! - Wood Dale, IL

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Registered Nurse licensed nurse to provide care for a kindergarten student on a ventilator. Here are the details:

Position: 1:1 Registered Nurse (RN) for Kindergarten Student Location: Wood Dale, IL Hours: 8:20 AM - 3:45 PM, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Providing specialized care and monitoring for a kindergarten student who requires ventilation support
• Accompanying the student on the bus to and from school
• Providing continuous support and supervision for the student throughout the school day, excluding lunchtime
• Collaborating with school staff and healthcare professionals to ensure the student's needs are met
• Documenting observations and interventions as required

Assignment Details:

• Immediate start with the assignment ending on June 16
• Possibility of extension to cover summer programming and continuation into the next school year

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Illinois
• Experience working with ventilator-dependent students preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to provide comprehensive care and support to meet the student's needs
