School Nurse - RN
Location: Santa Barbara, CA
Employment Type: Part-Time, Contract through ProCare Therapy
Hours: 2 days a week (15 hours total)

Job Description:
ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a compassionate and qualified School Nurse (RN) to join our team for a part-time position in Santa Barbara, CA. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential healthcare services to students in a supportive school environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and first aid to students and staff as needed
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and school policies
• Conduct health screenings and assessments as required
• Develop and implement individualized health plans for students with chronic conditions
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to promote student health and wellness
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Previous experience working as a school nurse or in pediatric nursing preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
