School RN job- 24/25 School Year

Location: Olathe, KS
Position Type: Part-Time (20 hours/week)
Caseload: 1:1 with Student (Specific caseload will be discussed during interview)

Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Olathe, KS. The RN will be responsible for providing medical care and support to a student on a 1:1 basis. The specific caseload will be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care and support to a student on a 1:1 basis
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare provider
• Monitor student's health status and respond to any medical emergencies or concerns
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure student's medical needs are met
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation

Requirements:

• Valid RN license in the state of Kansas
• Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
