Job Description:
As a School Registered Nurse (RN) with ProCare Therapy, you will play a critical role in promoting the health and well-being of students in South San Francisco. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment while enjoying the flexibility of a temporary assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct health care services to students, including medication administration and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to address the health needs of students.
- Conduct health assessments, screenings, and immunization reviews to ensure compliance with state regulations.
- Manage and maintain accurate health records for students.
- Participate in the development and implementation of healthcare plans for students with specific medical needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of school health regulations, immunization requirements, and healthcare procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
