We are currently seeking a dedicated School Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Monkelumne Hill. Job Description:
As a School Registered Nurse (RN) with ProCare Therapy, you will have the opportunity to work in a school setting, providing essential healthcare services to students. You will collaborate with a team of educators, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support the well-being of students and ensure their healthcare needs are met.
Overview:

  • Full Time
  • 5 Days a Week
  • 35 Hours Per Week
  • Start: As Soon As Possible 
  • End: June 2024

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administering basic medical care and first aid to students as needed.
  • Managing and administering medications to students in accordance with school policies and procedures.
  • Monitoring and maintaining student health records.
  • Assessing and addressing the health needs of students with chronic conditions.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to create and implement individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) for students with special health needs.
  • Responding to medical emergencies and providing immediate care.
  • Promoting health and wellness education within the school community.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized healthcare office.

Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California 
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and dedicated to the well-being of students.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
