School Registered Nurse Needed In Gages Lake, IL

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Registered Nurse to join our team in Gages Lake, IL. In this contracted position, you will play a crucial role in promoting the health and well-being of students within the school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide health services to students, including first aid, administering medication, and managing health records.
• Conduct health assessments and screenings as required.
• Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and parents to create and implement individual health plans for students with specific medical needs.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
• Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics and promote a healthy school environment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
