Job Title: Full-Time School Registered Nurse

Location: Providence, RI

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting the health and well-being of our students, providing compassionate care, and ensuring a safe and supportive school environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct health care services to students and staff as needed.
• Assess and treat illnesses and injuries occurring during school hours.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school policies.
• Monitor and manage students with chronic health conditions, allergies, and special needs.
• Develop and implement health care plans for students with specialized health needs.
• Conduct health screenings and immunization compliance checks.
• Educate students, staff, and families on health-related topics and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Rhode Island.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience working as a school nurse or in pediatric nursing is desirable.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
