Description: 
Start date: 08/16/23
End date:  05/22/23
Caseload: North Elementary School (approx 620 students enrolled) 
Age group: K-5
Hours per week: 37.5
Days per week: 7.5
Job description: Special education team services, IDEA evaluations, 504 evaluations/initial plan creation support, MTSS consultation/student problem solving meetings

Requirements

Education and Certification:

1. Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
2. Valid and current Illinois state license or certification as a School Psychologist.

Experience:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational setting.
2. Familiarity with Illinois state regulations and guidelines pertaining to special education and psychological services in schools.

Qualifications:

• Experience in school psychology or a related role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment and best practices.
• Familiarity with special education laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make data-informed decisions.
• Compassion, empathy, and commitment to student success.

Interviews are generally conducted via Zoom. Depending on the circumstances, pay is negotiable and usually experience-based.
