Job Title: School Psychologist

Location: Vacaville, CA

School Year: Current School Year

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: June 7, with possibility of renewal

Position: 1.0 FTE (Full-Time Equivalent)

Grade Levels: K-6th

On-Site Requirement: On-site only

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized intervention plans and behavior management strategies.
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties.
• Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate goals and accommodations for students with special needs.
• Support school-wide initiatives aimed at promoting positive mental health and academic success for all students.

Requirements:

• Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in California.
• Experience working with K-6th grade students in an educational setting.
• Strong assessment, consultation, and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations, including IDEA and Section 504.
