ProCare Therapy, a leading provider of educational staffing and services, is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in San Diego, CA. Position Overview: As a School Psychologist with ProCare Therapy, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral well-being of students. Collaborating with school staff, parents, and other professionals, you will conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and provide counseling services to promote positive outcomes for students. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Interpret assessment data and provide recommendations for appropriate interventions and supports.
- Collaborate with school teams to develop and implement individualized plans (IEPs, 504 plans, behavior intervention plans) to address students' needs.
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students individually and in groups.
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to support students' academic and social-emotional success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress, plan interventions, and make educational decisions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring data.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology or eligibility for credentialing.
- Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in educational settings preferred.
- Knowledge of assessment tools and techniques, as well as special education laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
