Position Details:

• Role: Full-Time School Psychologist
• Location: Portland, ME
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Until the end of the school year
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to support students' academic, social, and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Provide counseling and support to students to promote their well-being and academic success.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with staff to create a positive learning environment.
• Assist in crisis intervention and behavior management.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
• Maine School Psychologist certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in a school setting preferred but not required for entry-level candidates
