School Psychologist Needed In East Greenbush, NY

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate School Psychologist to join our team in East Greenbush, NY. As a School Psychologist, you will work closely with students, teachers, parents, and administrators to address the academic, emotional, and social needs of students.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
• Interpret assessment results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and other relevant gatherings to discuss student progress and intervention strategies.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in New York.
• Previous experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
