Position Details:

• Job Title: School Psychologist
• Location: Georgetown, IN

Contract Details:

• Full-Time position

Caseload Details:

• District position covering 4 school sites within a 10-minute radius.
• Total student population: 1500, including 300 students with special education needs.
• Majority of the position will be at the main campus.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop appropriate interventions and supports for students.
• Provide individual and group counseling to address students' emotional and behavioral concerns.
• Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special education needs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input on students' educational plans.
• Support teachers and staff in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field.
• Indiana state certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist.
• Experience working with school-aged students, particularly those with special education needs.
• Knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies for addressing academic, social, and emotional challenges.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
