Job Title: School Psychologist
Location: Ashland, OR 97520
Duration: Full-Time

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in Ashland, OR. The School Psychologist will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychological services to students in two schools within the district. This is an on-site position for now, with the possibility of remote work in the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Interpret assessment results and communicate findings to educators, parents, and other stakeholders to support decision-making and intervention planning.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans and behavioral interventions for students with complex or severe behavioral problems.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and other professionals to develop and implement interventions and support plans for students with special needs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP meetings, and other meetings to review student progress and plan appropriate interventions.
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to address student needs and promote positive behavior support strategies in the classroom and school environment.
  • Provide training and support to school staff on topics related to mental health, behavior management, and social-emotional learning.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and services provided to students.

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Applied Behavioral Sciences, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
  • Eligibility for a Professional Services License with a School Psychologist endorsement through the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC).
  • Experience developing and implementing intensive behavioral intervention programs with students with complex or severe behavioral problems.
  • Knowledge of best practices in school psychology, assessment techniques, and intervention strategies.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and collaborate with school personnel, parents, and community agencies.
