School Psychologist (Contract Position): Richmond, VA

ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in Richmond, VA. This is a contract position that offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the mental health and academic success of students within the local school district.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments to identify and address students' learning and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective interventions.
• Provide counseling services to support students' social and emotional well-being.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of intervention plans.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for teachers and parents on relevant topics.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Virginia Department of Education licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Previous experience working as a school psychologist is preferred.
• Strong assessment and intervention skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
