ProCare Therapy is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate School Paraprofessionals to join our team in Lake Ariel, PA. As a paraprofessional, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of students in a school setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist students with disabilities or special needs in classroom activities, under the direction of the classroom teacher or special education teacher.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance with academic or behavioral tasks.
• Implement behavior management strategies and support students in developing social skills.
• Assist with the preparation of instructional materials and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or associate degree preferred.
• Experience working with children or individuals with special needs is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Must pass a background check and meet all requirements for employment in schools.
