School Paraprofessional - North Port, FL

Job Title: School Paraprofessional
Job Type: Full time - 37.5 hours per week 
Caseload: K-12th grade openings 

About the Position:

ProCare Therapy is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as School Paraprofessionals. As a Paraprofessionals you will play a critical role in supporting our teachers and students in the classroom. You will provide a variety of assistance, including:

• Working with individual students to provide individualized instruction and support
• Assisting teachers with classroom management and behavior intervention
• Assist in managing and addressing challenging behaviors, implementing strategies outlined in a student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) or behavior plan.
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
• May be responsible for tracking and recording student progress, behavior, and other relevant information.

Qualifications:

• 60+ college credits OR passed ParaPro Exam required.
• Able to pass a background check and drug test required.
• Reliable transportation required.
