School Occupational Therapist - Emporia, KS

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate School Occupational Therapist to join our team in Emporia, KS. As a contracted Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with educators and other professionals to provide essential services to students in a school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive environment for students.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
• Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Provide consultation and support to school staff regarding students' occupational therapy needs.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of goals and objectives.
• Stay current on best practices in occupational therapy and educational trends.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid Kansas state license for Occupational Therapy.
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
