School Nurse job- private duty

Position: 1:1 School Nurse
Location: Mocksville, NC
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: June 11th, 2024

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 nursing support to a high school student.
• Assist with trach care and support the student's needs while in a wheelchair.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor the student's health and respond to medical emergencies.
• Communicate effectively with school staff and parents regarding the student's health needs.

Requirements:

• Valid RN or LPN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Experience with trach care and providing medical support to students with complex needs.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with school staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
