School Nurse Job Near Lockeford, CA

We are seeking a Credentialed School Nurse to join our team. The Credentialed School Nurse will be responsible for providing direct health care services to students and staff, developing and implementing health care plans, and collaborating with other health care professionals to ensure the health and safety of students and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct health care services to students and staff, including administering medications, treating injuries and illnesses, and providing first aid.
• Develop and implement health care plans for students with chronic or complex health care needs.
• Collaborate with other health care professionals, including physicians, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure the health and safety of students and staff.
• Provide health education to students, staff, and parents.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Participate in school health screenings, immunization programs, and other health-related activities.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to school health services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

If a candidate is not already a Credentialed School Nurse but is an RN with BSN, they can get an emergency credential until the program is started and work with that.
