School LPN job- short term coverage

Position Available: LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Duration: ASAP - End of the month (Possibly longer)
Position Type: Short-term Medical Leave Coverage

Qualifications:

• Valid LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in the state of Ohio
• Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Ability to provide medical care and support to students in accordance with established protocols and procedures
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and support to students in a school setting under the direction of the school nurse or other healthcare professionals
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Monitor and assess students' health status and respond to medical emergencies or concerns as needed
• Communicate with parents/guardians, school staff, and healthcare providers regarding students' health issues, treatments, and progress
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documentation of student assessments, treatments, and interventions
• Collaborate with the school nurse and other members of the school health team to promote a safe and healthy environment for students
