School Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Lacey, WA

Job Title: School Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 
Job Type: Full Time - 37.5 hours per week 
Location: Lacey, WA 

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a critical role in supporting our teachers and students in the classroom. You will provide a variety of assistance, including:

• Responsible for administering medications to students who require them during school hours, following proper protocols and ensuring accurate dosages.
• Assess and provide basic medical care for students who become ill or injured during the school day - could include first aid, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
• Work closely with students who have special medical needs, such as diabetes or asthma, to ensure they receive proper care and support while at school.

Qualifications:

• Current LPN license in the state of Washington.
• Must be comfortable and have experience with these responsibilities. 
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LPN in a skilled nursing facility highly preferred.
• Possible bus riding may be needed. 
• Comfortable with lifting, toileting, trach, and vent care highly preferred.
