ProCare Therapy, a leading provider of educational staffing and services, is seeking a passionate and qualified Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in Sacramento, CA. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of students by providing mental health support within a school setting.

Position Overview: As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with ProCare Therapy, you will play a crucial role in supporting the social-emotional well-being of students by providing individual and group therapy services. You will collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to address students' mental health needs and promote healthy development. This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic educational environment where your expertise in counseling and therapy can make a meaningful difference in students' lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group therapy services to students with social-emotional and behavioral concerns.
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to address students' mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with school teams to implement interventions and supports to promote students' well-being and academic success.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to provide support and resources.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and coordinate services.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress monitoring data.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice, including confidentiality and mandated reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.
  • Current California license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Previous experience providing therapy services to children and adolescents in educational or clinical settings preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of counseling theories, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting students' mental health and well-being.
