ProCare has an ideal position for you if you are a Physical Therapist with a passion for the pediatric setting! We have a supportive school district with a part-time summer opening, and it prefers someone who has school-based experience. However, it is open to speaking with PTs who are interested in pediatrics.Â
Job Details:
- Onsite location near the Monroe, Connecticut areaÂ
- Start July 1, 2024 and work until July 31, 2024
- # of students / ages TBD
- 1 or more school sites (mileage can be reimbursed between school sites)Â
Requirements:
- Must have a Master's degree in Physical Therapy, a Connecticut license (or be eligible for one), and previous experience working with children
- Specialized evaluations and evidence-based treatment that is individualized to the students' needs
- Maintaining organized documentation of student progress, response to treatment, and general data - organization and timeliness are integral
- Testing & screenings
- Contribution to IEPs and 504 plans
- Adjust treatment as needed to achieve maximum results.
